Bing Sings “My Buddy”

“My Buddy” was written in 1922 by Walter Donaldson, with lyrics by Gus Kahn. During World War II, this song’s simple words would remind more than one soldier of a friend or two who had not been able to make it back home. This particular recording was done by Bing Crosby in April 1941. Mr. Crosby’s rendition is the most felt, touching the heart in a special way.
